Leftover lock on premise

Postby Mahjra » 15 May 2015 18:21

Hello all,

I am new to the forums so excuse me if this is the wrong place to post. I recently purchased property that was previously a hostel. We are renovating and a set of lockers were left behind. This particular lock was left on the premise and as the new owner Im assuming learning lock picking will be a convienant hobby. (IN case tenants leave locks and never return.)

I'm attaching links to images of the padlock left on the locker. Maybe someone can give me more information on the type of lock and the best process to remove it without cutting it with bolt cutters or damaging the locker.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

You will need to cut that padlock off, it uses a disc detainer mechanism similiar to Abloy high security padlocks. Regular lock picks do not open these locks.

You need a special tool that fits inside this type of lock. go to youtube and look up "atomic bosnianbill"

We normally do not discuss this type of mechanism in detail, hope this is enough information to get you started.
