The flip-side to lock picking (lock making)

I was reading about a Russian that makes microscopic locks and it made me think about the skills it would take to MAKE locks that would challenge lockpickers rather than even being made for security of items.

Lockpicking is a hobby, a puzzle, why not come up with more challenging puzzles for those of us that enjoy the use of touch, hearing, and sight?

I think I will go over some of the things that are posted here as platforms to run from for making locks. Not even sure a key is going to be planned on, just locks made for lockpicking

(trys to figure out a lock that changes pin positions each time its opened)

any other ideas or makers of locks?

got it!! its a 5 key-in-one lock... 5 sets of pins to pickshouldnt be too tough to make either

I was just trying to make something to really challenge the rest of the club

*goes to work drilling cutting and placing pins*

with this one I "could" make a working key

An idea for something to make would be something like the van lock where the pin holes are the tension spots. With most locks there is a secondary spot to allow for tension but if you take that away the ability required to pick goes up.

Anvilfire or something like that has some information about making lever locks I believe, maybe just warded. I skimmed over that information before.
