corporate safe specialist replacement locks

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

Anyone got any ideas on what it would be worth as it is? Can't find the same model anywhere online to see what they sale for.
Or would it be worth the time and effort to restore it?
Which would mostly consist of sanding, painting, and replacing the bolt locks.

That's not an antique, so unless it is really really scratched to sh*t, probably not worth your time and effort to repaint it. It will probably just end up in the back office of a gas station or under the counter, where only the front will be visible. Price wise, it always helps if you have working locks and all the keys, so if you can reassemble the locks and they still turn ok, leave it.

Being the craigslist scavenger I am I would offer someone $100-$150 for that if I wanted another safe to play with. If I was a small business owner and didn't know safes to safe my life, I'd expect a 2 door combination lock safe with drop slot to cost $250-$600. In the condition I can see from your photos, I'd say its fair to expect $200 to $300 for it, if the person interested in it is offering you more than $300 take the cash immediately.

hope that helps,

list it for $250. if after X amount of time it does not sell then reduce price and add the words "or best reasonable offer".

The best is consulting a locksmith; they can even guide you with the replacement of locks. However, The safe is pretty basic model and standard in design, so it could just be good to sell it within a range $200-300.
