You can rotate the image in the tool to mitigate it ( not perfect but does make it better)

You can rescale the picture independently in X and Y axes, supposing you know the standard dimensions (blank height, pins spacing).

HI, Here is a photo of an old un-used pre-cut key that came with a IC lock. I have the code for the key, but I would like to know if someone is knowledgeable to extract key codes from just a photo and if you know how then what's the key code for this key I'll tell you if your right or not. Also if you do get it right how did you do it please share the knowledge I would like to know also. I know its possible and I'm skillful in Photoshop Thanks Here is the link below of the key http://i.imgur.com/WG2wCOq.jpg

Your application was amazing and outstanding I was able to extract a key code from a C123 Schlage Key. I'm amazed of what you have created here. But there is a glitch on the application when you click load to load image it gives this error. Even if i click continue to ignore the error it fails to attempt to continue. so what I did I had to drag the photo of the key to the blank white bar then click load and it worked like that no biggie just wanted to let you know bout that. I'm running windows 8.1 Pro x64bit OS

If I knew how I would have done it and wouldn't ask no one in the community on how to. If you so happen to know how on Photoshop please explain how a step by step would be very nice for me and the community also that are interested in know how to extract a key code from a photo. A detail guide would be nice I'm just saying Thanks!

try putting in some effort and do some of your own work and research instead of asking for someone here to take their time to spoon feed you and make you a step by step tutorial... Squelchtone

i find this thread as a deliberate attempt to illegally determine the cuts of a key that is not owned by the OP. This is scary and in my opinion the thread should be locked now!

Man what the hell is wrong with you dude! Mostly the only time you comment is to critique and say helpless things. Please if you ain't got nothing good to say please stop commenting into peoples comments. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this here. Since the day I became a member you've been a pain man. You don't know me or my skills. thanks to the community I've come along way and with many hours of practice I've done by myself. Honestly dude it seems like if you're always un happy and always wake up on the wrong side of the bed. I understand if I started a new topic and you letting me know to keep it clutter free, but other than that I don't ask for you help so don't butt in. To my knowledge this community is to help others and to learn from each other. For your information I stated that a step by step guide would be nice i never demanded one get it right. You put down new beginners that are starting here with your negativity instead of helping man.

Without retorting to madness....why dont you take a flying leap? This forum is not for those who want to find a surreptitious method to bypass a system or lock. It is for learning the art (and fun) of picking locks. Settle down!
