Hello, I just started to learn how to pick locks due to a lost key situation at work. I bought a beginner southord PXS-05 kit and have been practicing everyday for the past week. (since the I got my picks in the mail.) So far I have been able to get two door knob locks in my home, a master lvl3, master No. 3, and a master vline lock. I was surprised by the difficulty I have had in some of the simpler locks after I got used to the spool pins in the Vline series. My question is this, I am having trouble with a master lock M530, the deadbolt on my front door, and a doorknob lock that all seem to be regular pins. I feel like I'm over setting them but can never tell. Does anyone have any advice about over setting pins or practice tips?
