Eagle Lock Co. lock on old steamer trunk

Hi everyone, first time poster here, hoping someone could give me some direction regarding some information and/or advice regarding getting into this trunk. If you don't care about the story behind it, scroll to the bottom

Long story short, it was passed on to me about 15-20 years ago by my great aunt, I had it in my room for a few years where I stored stuff in it, and then it was placed in the attic, with all kinds of things in them. Unfortunately for me we've changed the attic door since then and now I can't even get the thing down to bring it to a locksmith!

I'm a huge 90s fan and nostalgia-inducing material items are basically drugs for me, so I've been trying and trying to get this thing open because I have the suspicion that it is a 90s/pog/Tamagotchi/Furby/Nintendo goldmine. I have no idea why I locked it in the first place; I assume it originally had a key, but since then it has been lost. So the thing is at the top of the stairs to my attic, and isn't coming down without emptying it first. Meanwhile, it's stuck exactly where it is. You see my predicament.

I've attached some photos of the lock. It seems to be in good condition and the center roller can spin freely. Any advice on how to pick this, or if there are skeleton keys available for this particular model? Any and all words are appreciated!

I usually have those keys in my shop, looks like someone already tried a screwdriver though

I typed "eagle steamer trunk key 022u25" into Google and the first result was a key on ebay for $21.95 from a seller in Vermont.

you can try cutting your own key based on the pictures in the auctions, or just buy it and be done. bill's right that a stop by the local locksmith shop may yield you a working key. bring photo from that ebay auction, it may help them match it up as well.

I don't know why I never thought of googling those numbers.. It never dawned on me that it might have a skeleton key for each kind of lock like that. Thank you for the responses guys! That's kinda steep for a key but I'll give my local locksmith a call with those digits and see what they can do. Otherwise, I'll just have to eat the $24

Rush fan born and raised! I'll report back on the contents when I finally get it open if this is the place to do it.

Update: I found a locksmith in my area that has this exact key! It's even manufactured by Eagle Lock Co. so it's legit. Will only cost me $15. Hopefully there isn't anything wrong with the locking mechanism and it's a smooth opening. Thanks again you guys
