Made myself a dimple lock!

I'm new to this forum, so please be nice ! Here's a fun project I've been working on this month for Jeff Moss and myself!

Very nice work, Boaz! Enjoyed your creativity and will be trying that out some day.

Perhaps if you can carve a straight line in the inside wall of the shell, you could use the ball bearings on top of the pins located in the original channels as a check pin. Maybe have a cut on the key blade for a 2 or 3 depth or something like that for the check pin to work, locating that cut where you have a shallow dimple, to reduce risk.

Nicely done! It would make it easier to clamp a cylinder in a vise if you put a shim in opposite each jaw. Less possibility of distortion, too.
