I like Lockmasters for tools and Safe locks/gear. I use HL Flake for most else. I think they have pretty good prices and very good selection. Anyone have other sources they would suggest for anything? Just trying to get a general consensus.
Thanks Don

I use Clark Security Products for most everything. They're very helpful but you pretty much have to know about what you want. Generally I can call them up and say "do you have this tool made by that company?" and they'll find it. Prices are pretty competitive.

I like HL Flake, but I think their keyblanks are crazy high to make up for their free shipping. I use US Lock, but they have crazy shipping prices and I don't like to about it to save money

HL Flake and Zipf Lock primarily, I get Stanley/Best stuff from Clark. Also buy from Security Lock every so often.

Locally (will call) I use IDN (they answer their phones and we have a dedicated account rep that only deals with large volume users), Clark but less so than before Anixter took over, but we still give them $150k plus in business each year. Midwest Wholesale because they are local and will price match any other seller we deal with. Security Lock for Schlage that the others don't have and some lines of access control, also odd Von Duprin parts. Boyle & Chase for Baldwin and Schlage that even Security doesn't have. Lockmasters of course for certain items, mainly tools and safe lock and safe deposit locks.
I won't buy from US Lock, too many messed up orders. Stopped buying from Southern and Locks Co.

Clark for nearly everything. IDN, Southern, and Clark all have pickup counters within driving distance for same day pickups. Don't deal with IDN because they sell to the scammers and Southern rarely has what I need.

In the uk ive found Sks to be the best. Fair prices, good customer services, free delivery on orders over £75. Not to mention an allocated delivery time. P.s im not an agent for them, just find their service better than the others ive tried

Here in Washington I use KDL Hardware Supply as they are 3 hours away from me. If I order by 4:30pm, I get it UPS ground the next morning by 11am. I have also ordered from Lockmasters, CLK, MBA and HL Flake, usually only for stuff KDL does not carry or have in stock and I need it fast.
