miracle a9 vs silca futura

which machine is better? the a9 is cheaper and will cut pretty much all keys automotive, high security, tubular, tibbe, AND multilock but will not cut medeco. im not super well versed with what the futura does however. i heard the futura is about 7k and the a9 is a little under 6k. to be honest i would just get the 3d pro extreme but i need a machine to also cut multilock.

wow, too expensive, and you can choose MIRACLE-A7, it is only 1300, my friend owned a garage and bought one, it works very well. You can visit it and choose what you want. http://www.carkeydeal.com/wholesale/kor ... sl260.html

If it were me I'd say Futura, I think Lockmasters has it on sale right now. i know others that swear by the 3D. Great time to compare capabilities and buy the more capable or suited to your needs

Miracle A9

I've worked with the old ILCO Triax, Laser key 3d pro and extreme. When looking into a new machine my first question was "Can I set up my own depth/space tables?" The reply is always something along the lines of NO there is no need for that function. With the Miracle A9 the answer was YES!

Here is the thing, every machine has issues with certain keys (usually new keys). Has wrong values or something. Eventually they get fixed, when the manufacturer gets around to it.. For example. With the A9, it thinks the key for the HU101 (7-cut) is about 1/4" longer than it really is, so it wouldn't decode or cut it correctly. I was able to fix the problem on my own by taking the HU101 (10-cut) table and deleting the first 3 cuts and save it as a new table. Problem solved on the spot without waiting for them to fix it. Try THAT with any other machine.
