What does this key belong to

Postby Kev5 » 18 Sep 2015 9:14

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section please free to move if it is. We have this key with years but we can't figure out what it is belong to. We have a safe but the key is much longer and two sided if that makes sense, we've tried cabinets, doors and even windows but still can't find what it belongs to. Do any of you have an idea?

It looks to be a key for a cheap warded padlock.

look at photos in this post for similar keys.

As said that is a warded key so think old padlocks, the bathroom door of the farm house I grew up in had a warded lock partly what sparked my interest in locks as a youngster actually
