Klom 7 pin tubular lock pick

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Klom 7 pin tubular lock pick

Postby Loosenut68 » 22 Sep 2015 21:06

Greetings all,
Anyone with experience with klom tube pick and measurements of tubular locks? Purchased a klom tube pick with 7.8mm dimension however, while the 7.8 appears correct for the inner post sizing the overall or outer measurement/sizing is fractionally to big and cannot be inserted into the keyway. Anyone have any experience with this and/or suggestions.
Cheers

Some lock manufacturer made the gap between the plug and the cylinder, that we can call keyway, tighter for this purpose: prevent to insert a tubular pick.
A couple of pictures of the keyway and the pick next to each other could help us determine if this is the case.

Cheers :)
