My first lock

I know it's not very impressive, but it's my first, and I did it pretty fast on my first try. I figured I should finally take the time to learn.

Congratulations! Glad it had all short cuts, so it would go fast. Nice job.

So did you do as I do and unlock the lock about forty or fifty times just because you made a working key from a blank without disassembling the lock? I still do that.

Good Job! Impressioning is almost a lost art, few folks will try it. My Dad used to tell me the guys who work at the locksmith distributors were locksmiths who couldn't impression keys

I have impressioned over 100 locks in the last maybe 6 weeks sinse I started and I do that to almost all of them. Mostly the ones I want to keep...
