6 pin euro opening

Postby chunk » 9 Nov 2004 12:00

I just started picking today and have opened two of the 6 pin euros on my home, on the third I keep thinking I've got it but it'll only go half way. Can anyone enlighten me as to what may be happening or what I'm doing wrong?

Regards

Hi Quicklocks, thanks for the reply, took the tension wrench out turned it round and used the long end to push the driver pins down whilst turning the plug. It worked. 1st day picking and I can open every lock in my house they're supposed to be anti pick... what a laugh. I'm buzzin' 'cos I can do it (as fast as my partner can find her keys eh...eh...eh...) but a little angry 'cos the locks are supposed to be anti drill and pickproof. What a crock of s~#t.

Hi Quicklocks, it was just that one lock, [Your solution worked just fine thanks] I stripped a similar one to check out the pins and some are mushroomed so I read MITGuide on what to do about 'em. I can rip euro's (the ones here anyway) in seconds now, I have a yale here and an abus, I'm not sure what model but I'll give the one you suggest a try. I'll try every lock I can get my hands on. I'm using set of picks http://www.locksmith-tools.co.uk/html/t ... e_loc.html

Thanks for the advice
