I purchased a locked safe at an estate auction without a key. I know the digital combination, but it will not open without the key. The key code is 3701. If anyone has a key I could purchase, or suggestions on how to get the safe open that would be appreciated. I believe the key is locked inside the safe. Brinks no longer supports this model, nor does Honeywell. I appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks! Brinks 5062d Fire Safe
Best suggestion is to bring it to a locksmith shop, put it on their counter and either they can look up that key code in a book or in some special key software they have that is not available to the public, or they can just pick it open on the spot and either impression a key for it or disable the lock so you only need the keypad to unlock the safe door.
you may also have gotten the cold shoulder from Brinks/Honeywell because they dont know you from Adam, so who knows if you really bought it at auction, or are some kid who wants to break into grandma's Oxycotin safe and needs a key to do it. bringing it to a locksmith in person and having him call Brinks/Honeywell introduces someone they can trust and give the info to over the phone.
You said they don't support this model, did you just not find it on their website or did you call them up and give them the serial number of your safe (not the key number, the serial number) and they sait it was no longer supported?
EDIT: here is the form to ask for replacement keys, you may have to fill out a Product Ownership Verification Form first:
