Further searching has shown that they are having problems keeping up with demand:

Their website says
We are currently accepting orders for delivery on Thursday 11th November. We will continue to accept orders whilst we have the capacity to maintain our next day delivery promise. Notice of any changes to our service will be communicated immediately at Screwfix.com.


I haven't had any problems with them, but my last order was a few months ago so things could have changed

Wow thanks for all the replies!

Varjeal - Yeah good points made :) Ill give them a swap over next time i can be bothered to re-pin it :)

sj - thanks for the info on the Euro locks, ill keep my eyes out for a practise cylinder.

Ill give up on the front door just in case the tool decides to go snap :)
