Tools to pick dimple locks?

I just got started and have a very basic pick set. (Sparrow tuxedo). I own two cheap dimple padlocks. Is it worth getting a dimple rake for these types of locks?

Nope. I use a half diamond with a thin shaft to pick dimple locks. I put the pick tip over a pin and rotate the handle to lift it. Works like a charme.

most of the time you can pick these with a simple half diamond

If the warding is preventing you from accessing the pins try making a custom 'flag' pick (remember to make both a left and a right one as some locks can only be accessed from one side). The link below provides you with some nice pictures to give you some inspiration

There are a few specialed pick sets available for these type of locks for instance from goso
