Combination change

Postby dlkeel » 11 Jan 2016 19:26

I have a Victor Safe Spec F2-ND and was wondering if I can change the combination number for my spouse passed away and the combination was given to several others before that time. I need to know if I can change it for the safety of my belongings.

Hello,

Please post a photo of the outside of the safe and the inside of the safe door. These safes are up to 100 years old, so we don't know all the models off hand, and a photo helps a lot.

Upload a photo to your favorite internet image hosting site such as http://imgur.com or http://photobucket.om and Copy/Paste the link here.

A google search tells me this is a fire proof file cabinet, is that correct?

Thanks

We'll need to know what lock is on the safe. They used S&G's and Moslers on their file cabinets. The spec just refers to the fire rating and does not mean necessarily mean it's a file cabinet. Sounds like an earlier fire box to me.
