kryptonite bicycle u lock.

Postby djrusso0206 » 30 Jan 2016 18:54

Hi folks, My Kryptonite bicycle lock is about 15 years old. I bought it new and have the 2 keys it came with. it works perfectly with the keys. I am into picking for about 6 months and just received the southord tubular picks. Ive watched the videos on youtube and somehow after 4plus hours I cant get the hang of it.Is there some sort of special tension? Ive tried what seems to be all tension adjustments and dry lubed the o ring and worked the pins on the pick but no luck. Thanks for any input

Since one of your first posts is about something like a bike lock, we're gonna tend to be a bit cautious in handing out info and instructions, I hope you understand.

Posts some pics of your tubular pick on the table next to the u lock and we can be a lot more helpful, but I have to check on the forum rules and see if we allow detailed discussion of bike lock picking or if that's reserved for the members only Advanced topics area where we keep certain details from the public's eyes.

Upload pics to imgur.com and then Copy/Paste the link into your reply here, I have some tips to give you but I really need the pics first so we know this isn't currently securing someone's Trek.

Thanks
Squelchtone

Or please post a pic of your stolen bike along with your address and what equipment you used
Along with your preferred lube
And the relevant authorities will be along to collect you and incarcerate you with a man you'll know as bubba

thank you Squelchtone for getting back to me. I'm new and still trying to get to learn the imgur app upload process. I took a few pics of my lock , the pick, and the keys and will post them up here when I return back to the office. Also wanted to ask if there is a group up in the area who gets together on occasion? I live in south central CT. Thanks again.
