Hello,
I would like to introduce myself to you guys. I am master thief. I retired after doing a long prison term for burglary. I have exceptional skills in lockpicking and impressioning
I have made some homemade equipment that I dont think you guys are aware of yet. I had a automated safecracker. I perfected a method on making medeco blanks. I also had a one handed lockpick. I think that I could be very helpfull to this forum.

ok, so you perfected making your own medeco blanks. You still have to decode the pin rotations. Also, did you do this onsite as alot of medecos are restricted blanks or site specific keyways. So lets hear how its done.

One question if you were a master thief how come you did time for burglary ? Surely a "master thief" wouldnt have got caught ?

First off this isnt a professional method to be used for normal locksmiths. This how I made the key blanks for medeco locks.
I would put soft pliable clay inside of a latex glove finger. Cut it off and tie it. I would press the clay into the lock only to get the impression of the keys design. I would them take it home make the measurements and cut it out of plastic with a dremel and fine tune it with files. I would lay a thin coat of white paint on the key. When it dried I would take it back to the lock,spray the lock with Wd40 and insert the key. By doing this I would know where it file down my blank to open the lock.
Another variation of this is if you have access to a original key. Make a caste of it using clay. Press down the clay where the original keys teeth are. What I would have is a clay impression of a blank key. I would pour melted plastic into the impressions giving me a black key when it dried.

as a hobby? I try to avoid it whenever possible, but whatever works for you..

but as for this thread - I don't know why anyone would want to advertise the fact that they were a thief and got caught for it apart from some sort of attempt at gaining respect.

this really isn't an "underground" information site where usernames like "masterthief" could gain someone a whole heap of respect - rather I think you'll find that a lot of people on this forum will be irked at your username.

if what you say about your lockpicking and impressioning skills is true, then you'll be a valuable member to this site - the only thing that puts me off is that no one that I know anywhere (not even pro-locksmiths) introduces themselves with "I'm exceptional at picking and impressioning" when there are professional locksmiths arround unless they are:

clawing for instant respect by lying (this will become apparent through later posts), Extremely Arogant - we've had some of these before and they didn't last (this site is no use unless you're willing to learn yourself). or have some sort of self esteem problem in which they must talk themselves up to avoid getting depressed.

Well, compared to some of the other new guys we get on a weekly basis this one's a rhodes scholar. He seems to have at least a grasp on locksmiting and as far as his his story, if it's not true at least it's well made up. Shine on you crazy diamond....

your medeco method would no longer work because the modern one require a rotation of the pins as well as the conventional shear line
