First open on this NR euro cylinder, 5 pins. The keyway is giving me real trouble!

My 9 year old daughter wanted to give it a try. After about 20 minutes of working with her she had a 4 pin Master lock open 3 times. SPP with a rigid tension wrench.

:-) Good for her! We should get her together to pick locks with my son. ;)

Abus 54Ti/40 - had this first open over a week ago, and not again until today I got several opens on it. Still not consistent, though...

I got the 7 pin practice lock from learnlockpicking and I've been repinning and picking that every day since I got it. It is an awesome lock. I was buying used locks but now I don't need a bucket full of locks. I'm going to mount it and I'll be set.

Oh and I also picked an American 2000 van lock I found in a desk at work. I really thought it was gonna be more of a challenge

Old Italian "FF" from an auction score. Got this a couple of weeks ago - couldn't even get started. Today I finally realized how little tension it wanted: the core spring had rusted so there was zero spring tension left.

(Ok, so probably I could not have controlled the tension well enough a couple of weeks ago. :D)

3rd time to get this lock. It's a 5 pin master but it gives me a good challenge. The lock body is covered in glue so I think it had weather armor.Image
After getting a few pins set, it drops into a deep false set and my pick usually gets stuck.

My 3rd opened dimple lock.

Still advancing through the lot of locks. For now I'm 75% effective with the dimples. :)

Old padlock REG'D US MAIL with meter. Very cool one. You can only turn the shackle one direction. Picked it with this old falle style pick while turning the shackle with two fingers.
I think it has two pins, gonna make a key for it when I find a suitable piece of brass.

Cheers :)

You're right, I should have taken a shot from the bottom to show the keyway. Since it's flat, I didn't. I may update the thread tomorrow.

Cheers :)

Here is the keyway of one. As Femurat said, it is flat, no warding.
