Viro does have some paracentric keyways for which a thinner pick would be a more suited.

I know this post is pretty old, but how thick are the goso picks? I haven't ever picked with anything thicker than 0.025". I primarily use 0.025" or 0.015".

This thread is old. But I can answer that. GOSO picks are INSANELY thick. They are at least .025 thick.. I am 90% sure they are thicker than that. The ones I had, I got so mad at them I just threw them out. The handles were terrible. The metal they were made out of, was questionable at best. The pick designs were repetitive, and mostly just bad.

With that being said.. If you take some time with them, and do some modifications, they CAN be made into usable picks. After mine went into Bin 13, a friend bought a set that was just learning. I took an afternoon to hang out with him, and we sanded them down, did some filing and wrapped the handles differently. They weren't too bad then. But, when it comes down to it, most picks need work soon as you get them anyway unless you're paying top dollar for ones that someone has pretty much hand finished ( like Mad Bob does with theirs ).
