Wrong size tubular pick

I ordered a GOSO 7mm 7 pin for a few tubular locks I have out in the garage (storage). Problem is, the pick won't clear any of the center posts. Doesn't look like it's big enough.

How do I measure the center posts or other aspects of the lock so I order the right size? There's only a 7.5mm and 7.8mm left but I'd like to just get what I need rather than waste another $10 on one I don't need/can't use.

I'd use my digital caliper, as it's the only semi-precise metric measuring device I have. Or you could use an English measuring tool and convert to metric.

I don't use a digital but my reloading caliper should do fine. But again, is the measurement of the exterior diameter of the center post or is it the interior diameter of the outer housing....or something else?

Measure either the outer of the post, or the inner diameter of the key. Yours is likely a 7.8 or 8.0

You can always heat up the tool with a torch until it is cherry red, then tap it into the keyway with a rawhide mallet, stretching it out slightly.

Wouldn't that fuse the individual picks to the body of the pick's tube and then solidly grip to the lock's center post making it really difficult if not impossible to pull it back off?
