I need a cheap and easy way to obtain some lockpicks, anything will work, if you tell me hairpins, i will do it, but I am a little short on the cash front and well...... i dont exactly have a credit card to buy a set online either.

You could use Paypal to buy picks online and they are generally cheap too. :)

When I was first getting started in the lockpicking game, I stumbled across this site and a few really nifty templates that print out to scale picks. I've tried finding them again, but this hasn't worked. If you want, I could email em to you. Maybe I'll post a file of em so noobies like I was can have easy accesse to it ^^, if I do though, I would like to find out who originally did the templates so I can give them full credit, and maybe even thank em =\

Search for the MIT lockpicking guide. The appendix has some nice ideas. I made my first pick and wrench each from 8-penny nails. They are cheap. You can probably get brickstrap for free.

Just go to www.gregmiller.net then click on locksmithing after that clcik on how to make lock picks. It tells you the materials and how to shape them and what to shape them into and the measurements.
