A sucker for sales.

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

A sucker for sales.

So. I'm a sucker for sales. I went to a local locksmith at lunch today to pick up my new medeco sfic X4 they were pinning up for me. In the windows they had a table with a box on it full of stuff on sale.

I couldn't resist. I bought an abus rock 83/55 with a wr5 core. And an American 3700 with a sc1 core. Totalling 50 bucks. The medeco sfic was 40. I'm a total sucker for sales.

My guess is, I'm not alone. Anyone else constantly spend more than you should on locks?

I do spend more than I should, but I put most of it into my inventory

Think are many of us here who spend more than they should on locks. My wife is positive that I do.

Just when you finally think you have learned it all, that is when you learn that you don't know anything yet.

Haha mine too (well g/f of many years).

I just mention shoes and makeup. Tends to kill that argument.

Yup, hand up here. The lockey where I get a few of my exotics from seems to thinks Im nuts. He was impressed when I brought him my reassembled Kaba for show and tell. He had assured me I would not be able to do it without his $$$ Kaba jig. Thing is he dosent know Im still only buying the stuff I cant procure wholesale!
