I hope I'm posting here the right way . Today I picked one of my master LOTO locks. The first time it took me 3 weeks to pick one and the time I did, it took about 20 mins. I hope I'm not just getting lucky and I'm actually getting better. Today I picked this one a couple times. In just a couple minutes.

Lockwood 234B45 Padlock. These are quite a challenge, and I have quite a few laying around here, a lot in much better condition than the one pictured. If anybody is keen to trade for something from America, hit me up via PM and we can work something out. Actually really any trade, Aussie lock for American, as, Ironic as it is, Ive only seen American Lock brand locks so far... Also a quick look inside for the uninitiated.

I'd advice not turning the plug more than 90 degrees lest you enjoy repinning dimple locks =)

Nailed the 5-pin Medeco m3 again today... The 3600 really does make a beautiful "clunk!" when she opens!



I removed the bi-axial core from the American after picking it open, and replaced it with the m3.

Lockwood 520 Thunderbird Knobset (Circa 1960s). Found a couple of these sets and a mortice deadbolt assmbly to suit today at a swap meet. Super stoked, these are really good quality Aus made stuff, and you can see how good they still look after 50+ years. Not boxed either, just in a crate of other door hardware for god knows how long. Only wanted to pick one way, not sure if thats because of the fact they have balanced pin stacks?



And the keys.. I just love the simple industrial feel of these, just LOCKWOOD and an outline of Aus.

Still new to this (and waiting for some better picks to arrive), so I've been working on some easier locks (though I did manage to get my Abus Inox T84MB/40 open once). These three have been my "meditative practice locks" which I've been occasionally picking (and getting open) today at work: http://imgur.com/dBwlv4V

A nice way to give your hands something to do on those quiet moments. The picks are part of a "credit card" set which came with the practice lock on the right. Sets by SouthOrd and Goso should be arriving soon.
