Wilson Bohannan padlocks are 5 pin with no spools, and are common on ebay uk. I can't think of any padlocks with those specific numbers of spools in them, so I recommend investing in a repinnable practice lock.

WB padlocks on ebay.co.uk seem to be all US sellers. the results come back 0 sellers in UK. Shipping would probably kill him. Agreed on padlocks with x spool pins, it doesn't work like that skyshot16, you cant find a list of padlocks that have 1,2,3,4,5 spool pins, there's no such clear cut lists other than to say that "most of the time" a particular model has 1 spool or 2 spools or all 5 spools, and the only ones that come to mind are the Master No 140, Master ProSeries 6121, Master 532, and Abus 55/50 has 4 or 5 spools. as kwoswalt99- suggests if you want to control the exact number of spool pins, pin up your own combinations by using a repinnable practice lock such as the one Mr. Wizard here sells.

According to this site http://lock-lab.com/locks-to-learn-on/ that lists several padlocks and what type of pins they contain I think your best bet would be an Abus 55/40. It has 3 spools and it may be cheaper and easier to find in the UK than a master lock.

Look, I love BosnianBill but his word is not always gospel. Ive watched a lot of his videos and perhaps they were his earlier ones but he's said stuff in the past that was straight up incorrect or at the least misinformed, or called a part of a particular lock or a method of picking (like his "b*tch picking" term which I am not a fan of) totally differnet than what most experienced locksport hobbysits would call the part or method. The pin counts on his blog are based on his personal observations, and we have a thread here as well for which locks contain what kinds of pins, but I've come to the realization that the info isn't written in stone and while someone's padlock has 1 spool another member with the same model padlock has 3 spools (or worse yet *feels like* x spools so it *must have* x spools, but without cutting and gutting a bunch of random samples, we can only say that *typically* this model is known to have a spool pin, or this model typically has 5 serrated pins, but I worry about that lock lab chart as being passed around absolute truth since BosnianBill has such a cult following. I don't want to spread any misinformation about anything. Most of the other active members on this (including yourself) have much more experience as far as locks and lock picking are concerned than I do so I trust what you say. I am fairly new as you know and I guess I just assumed that when a lock was manufactured they always put the same type of pins in each one. I didn't realize there could be differences in the types of pins within the same model of lock. I guess the best and most economical way to learn how to pick certain pins and a certain amount of pins the way that Skyshot16 wants to learn would be getting a re-pinnable practice lock like you mentioned. You can delete my previous post if you want.

Oh I thought there may be a list of padlocks and pins some where that people have put together... I wanted to build up skills on a number of different locks that was uk based of harder levels... It seems a lot of the locks I've seen are really hard to get in hardware stores, the locks I see in all the big stores I don't have a clue which ones to buy.
