HPC Pick Series 2000 / Falle-Safe Picks!

Hi all,

Please help, it's been a while since i've practiced picking due to getting rid of my pick's a while ago but i'm itching to get started again!
There is a company that sell's tool's ( www.multipick-service.com ) who i'm thinking about buying from, the tool's that interest me most on there site are the HPC Lockpick 2000 Series. I'd like to hear from anyone knowledgable with lockpicking experience what they honestly think about these pick's, just how good are they, are they good quality, are they suitable for euro keyway's?
I'm not really interested in the Southord pick's or the pro-line picks!
Also, bearing in mind that i'm not a locksmith ( i just pick lock's for the fun of it, it's my hobby or should i say obsession ) could anybody tell me of any businesses that would sell me some Falle-Safe Lockpick's ( i really wanna add some of these great looking pick's to my collection

), i've been on site's in the past that I think sold them and other tool's but only to locksmith's!

HPC are excellent picks, you cant go wrong with them, im not sure about the euro keyways with them, they may be to bulky, not sure, but HPC is an excellent choice of you can afford and manage to get your hands on them,

I'm a fan of the Falle Safe progressive curve picks and enjoy them greatly. Alas they are pretty hard to come by and are usually very expensive.

HPC picks can be expensive, it really depends on the type of pick and the handle... 2000 series are the best in my opinion but the happen to be the most expensive, if you want a cheaper HPC set get some unhandled spring steel picks then get a few foam grip handles.

2000 series are .020 thick if memory serves correct and the others are .022 thick..they are, in my mind the slimline of HPC.

My favourite set of picks are the LAB set:

I haven't tried any HPC ones, but have heard good things about the HPC2000 series.

I have not used the Falle picks, but have tried the tension tools and they are excellent quality and invaluable for dealing with spool pins. I am going to try to get myself a set eventually.

Two places I know which sell the Falle picks are Safeventures (http://www.safeventures.com/) in the UK and MSC (http://www.m-s-c.net/) in Germany. I have no idea whether they will sell to non-locksmiths, but it is worth asking.

I can assure you, falle safe tools cannot be sold to non locksmiths.

Safeventures won't sell to non locksmiths, but just try and order from MSC. I've dealt with them in the past and never had any problems.

While some of his other tools are restricted, the lock picks aren't. Many shops will not sell them to non-locksmiths, but that it their choice. The set I used were not bought by a locksmith so there must be some way to get them (I'm not sure, but he may have got them from MBA - http://www.mbausa.com/lockpicks.asp)

Distributors of Falle's 'Basic' pick set (Pin tumbler) that I'm aware of: Safeventures, MBA, MSC & Wendt.

Yes, you can get them from the last 2 BUT approx. 400 Euros/Â£280/$520 for a set! They're good, but not that good.

These tools are awesome. IMHO the build quaity & feedback from the tools is second to none. Also the range of hooks is unparalleled with any other set I own or have seen for sale.

Well it gives you the general idea right there, thats all you really need to know. They wouldnt go through and list every single pick in the set, it would be too long and pointless.

Well I guess what i was wanting to know is whether or not the Larger set offers any of the Picks from the PIP{2000 set.
I like the Long reach picks.

and I also have the Southord MXPS 32 set
and anyone know if I'm pretty much going to receive about the same style as those

and also I hear "read" that the HPC's are the best quality and choice.
just wondering how they compare to Southord.
