Medeco Blank Key Search

Dear Sirs,

I am not familiar with Medeco Key locks and I have just one key for may plane. I would like to have at least two other copies for it. Here I am posting you pictures of my key for you to figure out which kind of key fit for my plane.
Below I am sending back and for pics of the key for you to see.

Can anyone figure out which time of key I have and where to see/call to buy some blank keys?

I would start by calling the shop that's stamped on the back of the key.

Medeco tightly controls their key blank distribution. Odds are the locksmith stamped on that key is the only one who can get the blanks to match it for at least 500 miles in any direction. Even if you find another locksmith who can sell Medeco blanks they probably won't be the same ones. Best bet: as Jeff said, call that locksmith.

Agreed call the company on the key .. They will be the only ones that can help you.

call a locksmith and have him change out the cylinder to a non-locksmith specific keyway and then you will also have a keycard for the cylinder which you probably dont have either

I wonder what You think you are going to do with Medeco blank keys?
Then you will need a special machine to cut those blank keys with...

I now have a machine that will cut them, but prior to that, I cut all my Medeco keys by hand with a triangular needle file.

I actually find the original post to be funny, because I see this aversion to reading the advertising in many commercial settings.
I always wonder why the clients don't call back the last guy, the one who left that sticker on their door, or their lock, that has
their company phone number and address on it. The couple of times I asked, the people said they didn't see the sticker, just like
gdicampo didn't see the name or phone# & address on the big square head on his key, right??

A skilled metal tradesperson should be quite capable of filing a cylinder key by hand including Medeco. I am not a skilled one, but I have produced quite a few pin tumbler keys with a file.
