trying to identify this safe

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

I would say Mosler with a newer lock.

Johnson Safe Company does refurbs on safe. So yes probably a refurbed Mosler..

Any ideal if the dial is a group2 lock? or the brand of the dial/lock?

Keep in mind that the lock it self may be the same age as the safe, but had the dial replaced when the safe was previously drilled open.

Any ideal what model of Mosler? Did they use 3 or 4 combinations in the original lock?

I am finding that Group2 is the default replacement for Mosler safe...

It is a default replacement for modern Mosler safes.

The dial looks like a Lagard dial to me, but even if it is, it is no guarantee that it is a lagard lock sited behind it, or what type lock it is.

I thought the dial looked La Gard as well.
