Since i am not "special enough" to post or read in high security locks section, i guess this is the best place to ask this question:
How many MEDECO keyways are there? Is there a chart for: which keys fit which keyways, like there is the keyway tree in Schlage locks?
I am looking to buy some medeco locks on ebay and pin them up with medeco key sets available on ebay. I want to make sure that the parts i buy match each-other. For example are all m3 locks of the same keyway profile? I bet not...
Just looking for a complete listing of medeco keyway flavours.
Thanks ahead

I take offense to your comment that you are not "special enough" to have access to the advanced forums. There are simple requirements. The are not onerous or outlandish. Not even particularly difficult. We have our reasons for those requirements, which have been greatly reduced over the past few years. Our reasons for those requirements are clearly posted, as well. So if you can not grow up and accept responsibility for meeting very simple requirements, then get out. We don't need self-righteous entitled whiny brats here.
Now that I have addressed the attitude, I will discuss the "SEARCH" button. It is found at the very top of the page, third blue button from the left. It is also on the left side of the page, in the top section of blue buttons. Both of the buttons say "SEARCH". If you click on it, you can enter what you are looking for. Such as "Medeco Keyways". It will help you find answers that have been asked before, as this one has.
I will summarize what you will have found had you bothered:
1. There is no chart of pictures of Medeco keyways. 2. Medeco does not publish lists of keyways. 3. There are hundreds of keyways from Medeco. Maybe over a thousand. Nobody knows how many.
Normally, you will not find me to be so unpleasant and rude when I answer. Most of the time, I am quite friendly an helpful. But your "Not special enough" post tells me that ... well, I will self censor my intended comments.

Dear Sir Dude, brighten up and grow a sense of humour. By definition, something that is not "common" is "special". While the criteria to become "special" may not be outlandish or at all difficult, it does not change the fact that something is regular and something else is... you guessed it: special. Also, thank you for helping me generate a list of things that, had I searched the forum better, I would still be unable to find. The fact that there are hundreds or even thousands of keyways used by medeco and the fact that medeco does not publish the listing, does not mean that some wise and friendly forum members have not compiled such information and are willing to share. After-all, that is why we are all here, to share useful information in a friendly and calm environment. Not trying to sound mean or offensive towards you or anyone else. After-all, I am here asking for information, not to act arrogant. I am just stating the facts, which may sound offensive to some people, however it is not intention to actually be offensive.

Thats some good back pedalling there.. you know what you meant when you wrote it, otherwise why bother including it, it just makes it seem like you're butthurt for not having access yet and after being here a year already, not sure why you havent bothered to meet the minimums and apply. Nobody has such a list btw, just buy locks that have keys included already, or learn what the Medeco Classic Air 00 keyway looks like, there's enough of those keys and cylinders floating around.
Also, you have Medeco Classic and Biaxial pin kits to repin the locks you buy?

1. Not really back pedalling, just stating the facts to avoid being miss-interpreted... You never know when the people reading your forums did not get laid last night and may start to imagine meanings that are not really there. Restating the facts usually helps. But thank you for the compliment about my pedalling ability, even though in this case I did not deserve it 2. Don't have those kits yet (working on it). On ebay you can buy a set of keys with matching bottom pins (not ARX, but still decent deal). However, if the key does not match the keyway, it's kind of useless... Hence the attempt to compile the listing of keyways, to know what is out there....

And those rekey kits are pricey. You may check with the sellers - some of the sellers of the locks and the rekey kits are the same seller. That may help you out.

Yup. $300 for non-ARX kit is a bit more than I would like to spend, hence "still working on it" part... Now, if that kit was full of ARX pins, different story. Non-ARX pins fall flat on their face to medecoder...

Thank you. Digging through it. Lots of good info. Was originally hoping to define the "size of medeco keyway sandbox" to function as foundation to further research.
