LP24/KW24 keyway/key

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

LP24/KW24 keyway/key

Postby jonwil » 15 Aug 2016 11:29

I have a pair of identical keys (both are clearly cut from another one rather than being the originals for the lock). One is stamped "kw24" and the other is stamped "lp24". Does anyone have any information on what sort of locks use that particular keyway/key blank/shape? (e.g. a manufacturer, what sort of internal mechanism it might have etc)

I also do have the lock these keys open but there is nothing on it to indicate details and its sealed to the point where its not possible to see inside the lock body.

Possibly European automobile key blank ID. Try Silca.
