So I have been doing a lot of research on Sesamee style locks (Master 175, Master 975, CCL Sesamee). They can all be decoded with out too much trouble, the CCL Sesamee being the hardest to decode. My carts all came with Master 175s. I have to give the codes/combo to the teachers and other staff to be able to open the carts.
I was thinking of replacing them all with CCL Sesamees but those are still bypassable and decodable. The carts get locked up in a room at night, so we really are not talking about a need for a huge amount of brute force resistance. I don't think a key system would work, there are probably 100 staff members.
I was considering the Master Speed Dial as they programmable, folks can't leave them on the correct combination, and are virtually impossible to decode.
Any other suggestions for a programmable padlock?
