Door knobs

Postby pingman326 » 17 Aug 2016 20:00

Okay, I'm getting pretty good at picking padlocks and deadbolt but really struggling with door knobs. Is there a different technique or pick that works best? I still consider myself a beginner.

Thanks

Unless you are trying to pick some high security doorknob the process is exactly the same as a padlock .. But the finesse differs from padlock to padlock and doorknob to doorknob
When I finally leave this world.. Will someone please tell my wife what I have REALLY spent on locks ...

The theory and technique is the same. Find a Kwikset lock for a starter and begin practice. Pick to left to open

I like to turn the knob away from the direction I am picking the knob, it helps when the lock picks, as the tension ramps up once
the cylinder begins to turn, which is a bit different from how a deadbolt works
