New Pocket Set

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

New Pocket Set

Postby Ian_425 » 20 Aug 2016 16:40

Just finished making a "pocket set". I have to cut the handles down some to make them truly pocket sized, but I don't like using super short picks.

Set consists of:

0.015 hook
0.025 hook
0.025 bogota style rake
Flat tension tool (this piece still needs some work, but it is the easiest piece).

All the handles are about the same width, so they easily stack together.

Let me know what you think.

Ian

I like them. I like how you rounded all the edges. Even the Bogota shape is quite right. Many people make a bulky Bogota and don't get that it's its flexibility that makes it work so well. Your resembles the raimundo ones.

Cheers :)

Thanks for the compliments. Not sure anything I make can ever even resemble Raimundo's work, but I am glad it looks good enough that I can fake it :)

Very nice,a single AA flashlight case,or knife pouch(nylon)would probably hold those, and maybe some more
very nicely.
I use them for my mini sets.

I have a pen that I took the ink out of and can fit everything except the tension tool. I may need to come up with a different tension tool for this set.
