Hi,

Just quickly after a brand of euro cylinder I recently came across. The logo was a circle with what seemed an 'L' incorporated into it with two little marks after the 'L' at the bottom of it. Then there was an outer circle around this.

Must be an easy ID for someone (if they know by my description what I'm talking about!) but after a little research I can't find out what it is.

By the way, a gege rap key fit into the keyway, but it obviously isn't the gege logo, unless it's an old one.

Maybe my description wasn't very good. If you turned the cylinder on its side then it looked like a 'G' with a complete outer circle and two small wiggly lines inside beneath the tail of the 'G'. Ring any bells now anyone?

Cheers Pinky. I've tried scouring the net but can't find a Grundman logo so I'm unable to confirm it, but as a gege rap key fit the keyway, you are probably correct.

I see Kaba, gege and Grundman are all linked. Do these all belong to Kaba or something?

If a Grundmann blank fitted neatly then it's almost definitely a Grundmann as they use a unique keyway. They do brand their cylinders at least seven different ways.

Your description of the logo sounded a little like Genii, a company of far eastern origin which may have made a very, very close copy.
