Has anyone got a top tip for a supplier of cheap cases? I've been looking at pen cases, crochet rolls, tool rolls, dart cases...but not found anything that really floats my boat.

I used to use a makeup brush case. Remove the brushes, and there are places to hold your picks in orderly fashion. Cheap, too! Gordon

And would give more clearance for longer picks. Never thought of them! Gordon

Timing is good for this post, I'm looking to expand my set. I keep my picks in a roll-up tool case from Fixit Tools, though I don't recall where I picked it up from. Might have been Harbor Freight, but I'm not positive. I keep that case, and my other entry stuff in a toiletry case I got from Walmart.

I have a back-up kit. A small kit with just a few picks and a few tension tools, that I can bring wherever, just in case. My case for this kit is extremely simple, a tube of M&M minis.... It's the perfect size. It's just a little longer than my picks, and wide enough to store a dozen picks, with 4-5 tension tools... and best of all, if it breaks I get to eat some M&Ms to get another case.

Sparrows has really cheap cases anf they're pretty good quality. I have the vorax then the competitor. The vorax has a ton of room and the competitor is thinnner , it also doubles as a pick stand.

My advice would be to start of with a small case .. What you are probably going to find is that you will not need a bunch of picks.. I probably only use maybe a total of 5 picks and 2-3 tensions wrenches on the normal .. http://www.sparrowslockpicks.com/product_p/c-2.htmThis is the one I have and I end up not even touching the picks I have behind the flaps..
