Tremendous Twelve

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I received my "Tremendous Twelve" lock pick set from Toool organization today and it is awesome! I highly recommend it for beginners like myself.

Since you're a beginner, how do you know it's awesome?

I'm just pulling your leg

I have a set myself that I supplement. I like to put heatshrink tube on the handles. I did plastidip them originally, but the plastidip eventually the plastidip started to peel.

I had to ditch the rose tube because it wouldn't fit them with the plastidipped handles.

As a TOOOL member I do have to admit to a certain amount of bias. That said, I have yet to see another pick set offering the number and variety of tools in a euro profile for the same price. I use a couple of these kits for all of my introductory lessons and offer them as loaner kits at events and they have held up quite well.
They aren't my every day carry kit but for a first set of picks they are quite good.
