Master keying books

Postby kd7mlg » 24 Sep 2016 23:48

Hello,

I found this thread which referenced what I believe are the two books that I've managed to lose - the two by Gerry Finch.

I can't make sense of the Lockmasters site ("You must be a registered locksmith to access this site") so can anyone confirm whether or not they still sell them? I'd love to get them back. They were educational and informative, and I've forgotten a great deal that I learned about Master Keying since then.

* (Yes, I could pony up the $20 to certify but it's not worth it to me. I hate talking on the phone and that seems to be the only method of contact they allow/advertise. If I have to, I'll call Monday.)

** (If anyone has them - I seem to recall mind came in two comb-bound volumes about 1/8 inch thick with grey paperboard covers with redish brown print - could we work out a deal?)

There is nothing on their webpage from Gerry Finch. The only master keying books I see are "Basic Master Keying Instruction Manual" by HPC for $62, and "Master Keying By The Numbers" by Billy Edwards" for $39.95

Thanks for checking, I do appreciate it.

I'm still bound and determined to replace those books. (Funny thing, I could have sworn I digitized them into .PDF at some point, but can't even find those files :( )
