Anyone have a good source for pins for re-pinning locks? Top pins, bottom pins, springs, you know all the fun stuff. A lot of them I have seen seem over priced, but maybe I don't know what they should cost. Looking for a good deal if there is one out there.
Thanks for your help,
Ian

I've never used them, but mrlock.com has them for fairly cheap. I've used taylorsecurity.com, but they are more expensive. Typically I just use H.L. Flake, but you have to set up an account with them.

I have looked at our sponsor LockPickshop and they dont sell individual packs .. I will recommend http://www.clksupplies.com/.. 100pk for $2.00-#3.00 (depending on make/model)
When I finally leave this world.. Will someone please tell my wife what I have REALLY spent on locks ...

Thanks! I have looked at lockpickshop, but I didn't want to buy so many pins. I will look at the suggested sites.

Are you looking for pins that you can repin cylinders to spec or just an assortment for lockpicking fun?

LAB makes nice pin kits, here is the one I owned which I ended up selling and then of course I needed to rekey a bunch of locks the following year and regretted getting rid of it. http://www.lockpicks.com/dur-x-semi-pro ... t-003.html If you're getting into some light handyman/locksmith work on the side they're a good thing to own. If you just need a dozen springs and 50 pins for lockpicking practice talk to jimu57.

I am just repinning practice locks for the most part. I made a couple easy to rekey practice locks and gave them to some friends, so I am just looking to replenish my pin stock.

I have more pins than I can ever use. If you want 50ish assorted pins, send me an IM. I don't have as many springs, but I can part with a few.

I think it depends on the locks that you're trying to repin. I've rekeyed many locks with LAB pins. I purchased specific kits for Best, Schlage, Weiser and Master, as these are the locks which I typically am combinating. I got a lot of my stuff from lockpicks.com, they're fast at shipping and rarely screw up orders. I keep a bin of old pins as well for making challenge locks and stuff.
The kits come with springs and other parts, which you may find useful.

The offer is open to anybody on the forum. If you'd like a handful of mixed pins let me know by IM. It won't cost you anything. All I ask is that you do a favor for somebody else in the future.
