Realy small padlocks openedeasy

Postby Oak » 16 Nov 2004 9:18

I guys ! i really dont know if this subject as already been discussed but in the summer last year i lost the key to one of my small padlocks well before i even know wath was lockpicking so my oldman used a plier puted in the bar thath lifts (im sorry but my english is not at his best) and with a little strength the padlock opened, attention im talking about reaaly small padlocks, well anyway i hope thath this can help someone since you may come across a padlock thath is screwed up inside rendering it imposssible to pick (unlikely). Also dont forget thath altough the padlock still continues to function its no longer wath you would conbsider a padlock, after this treatment it will be possivble to open it with your bare hands. :)

I just use these small tools Romstar threw together for me.

(Key included in picture for size comparison.)

Sorry begginerlockpicker, I don't know of anything commercially availalbe like this right off hand.

There is the prize from this month's contest if you were just looking for something compact to carry around:

There's the HPC KGB set, but I can't recommend it, I don't like picks without decent handles.

It's not the tools that open the lock. It's me.

:?
Can you order from that site? I've been there a few times before and i've wanted to order, but they don't show prices. Is the site just to show you the picks, or is there some way i can actually order from there?

You can't order direct from HPC.

I do believe that the KGB pick set is available from www.lockpicks.com

Check it out,
Romstar

While I don't know about www.lockpicks.com, I know that feeding "HPC KGB pick set" gave me a lot of sites, including some that sell to non-locksmiths.
It's not the tools that open the lock. It's me.
