Will Padlocks with Broken Shackle work?

Will Padlocks with Broken Shackle work?

Hey!

Im wondering if u guys know if padlock which has been cutted over the shackle work? the shackle is in 2 pieces. My school is clipping off unused padlocks, so i might look in the trash for those. thanks alot!

They will work fine.

As an added bonus, if you find the other piece of the cut off shackle, you can weld it back together

How do you mean "will it work" ? Like, can you still pick the keyhole? It will still be able to be picked if there is no shackle, 1/2 a shackle, or a normal uncut shackle.

Im sorry my english isnt very good, what i mean with still work is that i can pick it, it opens, and then i lock it again so i can repick it again for practice

Yes, as Squelchtone said it can still be picked and relocked just fine.
