ABUS 165/40

Hello all!

I have three ABUS 165/40 locks which are open but I don't know the codes for them!

I've seen youtube videos showing how to "pick" the locks when they are locked,

My question is, is it possible to find out the code without going through 0000 > 9999

Do I have £30 worth of locks which are now useless??

Many Thanks,
Llyr

it looks like you turn the hasp 180 degrees from the locked position push it down set to desired code and return the hasp to the locked position

I got the exact same question very often. Here is my video-answer https://youtu.be/kAlBM6UdOjM
Just decode it to the closed state.

Just ask, if something remains unclear. Bye,
Michael

Yes, just turn them 180 and push the shackle down :)

and never logged in again, so I doubt he will read your post with the video link. :/

That happens sometime when people have a lock question or problem, post it in 5 places like Yahoo! Answers or here or another forum, or figure out it out and never come back to follow up.
