Identify the HPC Key Machine

Can Anybody tell me what this is? What what does that row of knobs to? Certainly an old machine, nothing like it in the HPC catalog.

I think it's an old version of the Automate. I will check an old catalog tonight.

The only thing I could find that was close was the Blitz machine .. But I couldn't find one with the Manual Bitting Knobs..
When I finally leave this world.. Will someone please tell my wife what I have REALLY spent on locks ...

You might want to call HPC and ask them. They've always been helpful when I've called them for things.

It's not in my 1985 catalog, I sent a message to a friend who I think has one.

The knobs are used during Medeco copying and are just turned to be used as a reminder which angle to turn the wheel while you are cutting. They don't "do" anything.

That is exactly what my buddy told me, he has one of the machines.

Yup looks like an HPC 3333 key machine :D The dials on the top are just for reference when cutting old Medeco (Air/Classic) keys. The v-guide/feeler/copy dog and cutter can both be rotated to make left/center/right cuts. Great find! Looks like a very nice machine :D BTW, found a video made by SE Lock & Key (Jason Meeks)

I found this to be quite interesting :D
