Hi guys, I came across this lock: https://youtu.be/PbNiAejTnO0?t=32sDon't know much about it, seems to be cool, chinese and new The type is CEI 385T . These are all the pics I have. http://imgur.com/VXUZVGJ http://imgur.com/t7Oq67q It even comes with a quite cool and colorful keycard! http://imgur.com/7xUDajx All I can tell is what you all too can see from the pics. Just one thing grabbed my eye: the Multlock like double pin biting seems only to be present on one side of the key. Weird. Not a reversible key, or only demo keys are uncut like that? What sense does it make? (Money saving or technical reasons?) Anyway I hope you find it interesting and I hope I could show you sth new
To infinity... and beyond!

Ah, yes, CEI, one of the higher quality and more "name brand" lock companies in China. Personally, I think their locks are overpriced, but obviously, they are very interesting. One of their trademark features are the Pin in Pin mechanism, and the 5 colors of the key (they have no meaning except for the brown keys, which are construction keys) The 385T is their newest model, with the interactive pin being the outer pin as opposed to the inner pin. Unfortunately, it appears as though they removed the interactive element completely from the production lock, since it iseems probably quite expensive to machine.
In other Chinese Lock news: Yuema Lock Company, one of China's most well known companies recently released the Yuema 740, only 2 months after the release of the 760. The 740 is a super compact free spinning lock, only 10mm in diameter in its widest area.
The Chinese are always developing new and intriguing locks, and you never know what you might find.

Not sure, the pictures of the mechanisms haven't been very clear. I believe it has a different mechanism.
