Hi all!
I've been lurking on this site for years, have built my own homebrew sets and have even successfully picked a handful of locks. Now, I'm looking to start a TOOOL chapter in Rocklin, California, or at the very least find some folks who would be interested in joining up to practice the craft.
I'm a former law enforcement officer and current writer and editor, and have been looking for a new hobby for some time now. For those who are interested, feel free to hit me up here by email at [mod edit: removed]
My best,
Brent McCluskey

Your best bet is to talk to the TOOOL folks from the San Francisco chapter and see what the next steps would be to making your locksport meeting an official TOOOL chapter, but posting here is good to find new friends and like minded people from your area.
good luck!

I've had pretty good luck using Meetup.com and social media. Other good places to check are makerspaces and hacker/tech meetups if there are any in the area. TOOOL has some info on their site regarding new meetups and groups. Scroll about midpage to 'Starting a TOOOL Chapter'. http://toool.us/meetings.htmlGood Luck!

Hi Brent, I'm in granite bay, let me know if you were able to collect a group together for casual meetup.
