Eagle Strongbox Key Code - Help Needed

Postby Robotnik » 1 Feb 2017 19:21

Wondering if anyone can help me out with an Eagle key code:

1SVVBL

As far as I can tell, this is a 4-pin lock cylinder. Appears to be close spacing specs. Impressioning hasn't been successful for me. I have an Eagle padlock code book, but this one's not covered.

Appreciate any help anyone can provide!

I looked in an old shop code book, unfortunately your code was not shown in my book
you might like to try asking around on the antique lock forum at www.antique-locks.com

Was Eagle bought by Ilco?

From what I've read, Eagle ceased operations around 1975. Some assets were sold to another lock maker; forgetting which one, but may have been Ilco

Eagle made locks for the military and other secure applications and they did not release many of their codes.
Best bet is becoming more proficient in impressioning
