Curtis 15 Key Punch

Postby Silverado » 3 Feb 2017 14:40

Someone offered up what looks to me like a Curtis 15 key punch with "everything, and a bunch of blank keys".

It looks to have a cam installed in it, not sure if it comes with any others or how many different carriages as the seller is not sure.

Would it be worth purchasing? What's a fair price?

You may find this a handy reference to use for price comparison: http://www.hawleylocksupply.com/Merchan ... y_Code=C15

the left side of the page has a bunch of C15 links for parts and accessories.

Thanks Squelch. I had poked around there a bit to see what the prices look like. Only problem is, the seller doesn't know what all it comes with other than "everything it needs" so I'll throw out an offer and see what happens.

If you get it and need cams or carriages PM me. I have loads and complete clippers as well as the older models.

I ended up passing on the offer. I offered low, since I couldn't determine what parts it came with or if it even worked. The seller countered high at $100, and offered to let me stop by and look at it. Which is when I found out it would be a 2 hour drive for me. Not a drive I want to make for a mystery bag (kind of) of blank keys and maybe a clipper.
