Lockpicking Wiki

I've been on this site for a little while now, and have found a lot of great information, but quite a few times I find something once, then can't find it again. I use the search, but more often than not it comes back with 22 pages of results and takes a long time to go through.

So I decided that, as I was browsing the website, I would try to take notes and organise them, to help me when I need to find them again. I did this by setting up a wiki at one of the free Wiki sites. I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now, and it works well for me, so I am happy to share it with other LP101 readers, both for them to read and add to the information there.

The site is at:
http://lockpicking.xwiki.com/
You can change pages by clicking on the "Edit this page" button. To try things out, there is a test page at

I like it. I think things can be organized much better that way than with stickies. I hope you don't mind, I added Lock Info to the bottom.

Thanks for adding your information - that is exaclty the kind of thing I am looking for.

I have re-organised it slightly, to put it together with the other manufacturer-specific information there. Also I changed the name of the specification pages to be Manufacturer.Model, rather than just Model. Since there may be two locks with the same model number, from different manufacturers, this prevents them clashing.

Your pages can now be found at:
