Getting to back pins and general access.

Hi all.
I have discovered that deep set back pins are a problem for me. Getting access to them in narrow keyways isnt easy as all i have is a medium hook and a deforest. They struggle to ake their way to the back of the chamber. Im attempting a euro cylinder the keyway is smaller than the padlocks ive been practicing on. Ive tried tok and bok. Can anyone reccommend a handled pick for tight spaces that gets to the back pins easily. Thanks

The hook i have isnt slimline and are about 020" thick. Ive heard of gems and long hoiks but not sure whats the best for the job. Access is hard.

I have 3 Euro cylinders (thank you Ratlock! ) that I still can't open and I have slim euro picks. They sure are tough and that's about all I can tell you about them. Keep trying to find different angles to insert the pick...I've gotten that far and I can get the pick into the cylinder to feel out all the pins. I'm just stuck on the part where you have to lift them enough lol.

I find that for tight keyways the sparrows euro hook in .015 works great, that slender sharp point really let's you get back in those tight corners!

The Lock Picking Lawyer has a video on Youtube about paracentric keyways. During the video he shows a milled out cylinder and shows different ways to access the pins. He showed using Peterson's hook 5 and hook 7, I believe, to gain access through the channels that are cut for the pins. I've tried his technique and found that it works pretty well. It does take some time to learn to navigate inside the lock like this, though.

I'm a noob, but I find for those rear pins, sometimes a steep or medium hook works well. I don't care much for the half diamonds.
