Dimple pick set?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I actually have the "hand grenade" GOSOs, the Spooxe and the Southord. The Southord is bad for a number of reasons IMO. The edges are very squared off and it's too thick to use in really tight keyways, plus I don't like that it's interchangeable - sometimes I use two or more different picks and it's not possible with the Southord, not to mention the wobble is unacceptable. Even when I REALLY cram an attachment into the handle, every so often the collar loosens. Whoever designed that thing really went for looks over function and I'm sorry I purchased it.

The GOSOs are decent but I like that the Spooxe are nicely rounded and come in different thicknesses. I'm sure if I had the time I could sand down the GOSO set but right now I don't have the time for it.

I also want to update that Frank, who makes spooxe picks, is VERY responsive to feedback. Last night I wrote him a review about the stickers on his picks that identify each one, and how they're starting to peel off. I suggested imprinting the pick type on the pick itself and he replied this morning saying that he is going to start doing that now and is sending me the first pick with the style imprinted on it. Very nice guy and excellent service.
